CEO & CWO

​​Ms. Nyasa Sullivan is no stranger to the world of the arts. Being the principle female dancer for over 25 years of Barbara Sullivan’s Atlanta Dance Theatre, the first African American dance company in the southern region, she has explored many fields of the arts as an actress, writer, director, and choreographer, but she is best known as a instructor.

 

She started taking classes at the age of three, and has been teaching since the age of fourteen. She has taught and still is teaching at many private school, early learning centers, and Christian academies throughout the area. She believes in giving back to the community by teaching the art of dance to those who have never had the spiritual experience of it.

 

Throughout her years in the arts she has appeared in many stage and film productions. She has also performed with many singing artist for stage and video. Mrs. Sullivan – Davis now dedicates her life and her talents to God. She is a member of Word of Faith Christian Ministries under Dr. Dale C. Bronner and a longtime member of The Sanctuary Dancers under the direction of Min. Barbara Sullivan. She gives all honor, praise and glory to God whom is the head of her life for shaping her to be who she is and who’s she is today. "For in him I live, breath, and move."


 

COO & CRO

Donna Maye (formerly known as "Ms. Mac") holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Reading from Rollins College. She has also completed the Discipline Based Arts Education Training (DBAE) at Kennesaw State College and additional training at the Arts Infusion Professional Conference. She is certified in dance and reading Pre-K through grade12.

 

Ms. Maye has served as a Dancer/Actress in King of Glory, Burning in Mississippi, The Amen Corner, The Savior Lives, Black Nativity, and In the Heat of the Night.

 

She has also been a Dance Education Workshop Presenter at Dance Educators of Georgia (DEGA), Mercer University, and throughout Dekalb County. She is Co-Director of Dance On The Move, Inc. and the Taylor Maye'd Dance Company.

 

As a dancer, instructor, and choreographer, her affiliations include Barbara Sullivan's Atlanta Dance Theatre, the Victory Sanctuary Dancers, The African Dance Connection, and the Conyers School of Ballet.

 

Donna Maye is former president-elect of Dance Educators of Georgia (DEGA), and served on the Georgia Quality Core Curriculum (QCC) Revision Team in Fine Arts. She has been elected Teacher of the Year TWICE-once in Newton County in 1982, and again in DeKalb County for the 2001-2002 school year.
